Screening for Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts submitted to Pneuma: International Journal of Pentecostal Theology and Spirituality will undergo plagiarism screening before entering the publication process. The journal uses plagiarism detection tools and editorial evaluation to ensure the originality, authenticity, and academic integrity of every submitted manuscript.
Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism, self-plagiarism, improper paraphrasing, duplicate publication, data fabrication, and falsification. Authors are required to properly acknowledge and cite all sources used in their manuscripts, including books, journal articles, online resources, theological writings, biblical commentaries, and other scholarly materials.
If plagiarism or academic misconduct is identified, the editorial board may take one or more of the following actions:
- Return the manuscript to the author for revision and correction.
- Reject the manuscript.
- Withdraw the manuscript from the review process.
- Retract a published article if misconduct is discovered after publication.
- Notify the author’s affiliated institution if necessary.
The journal maintains a strict anti-plagiarism policy to uphold academic integrity, ethical publication standards, and the quality of scholarly publishing.
